2017 Hiring Schedule for Temporary Seasonal Rappellers
The application window for TEMP fire positions is very short... Sept. 29th - Oct. 6th. If you are interested in applying for a rappel position, you MUST have submitted an application through USAJOBS within this application period.
Cert lists for TEMP positions will be issued in January.
TEMP job offers will be made late-January. *You must be available to accept a job offer.
*NOTE: The GS-5 TEMP rappel positions are filled under the GS-5 'Helitack' announcement. GS-4 rappel positions will be filled using the general GS-4 'Fire' announcement... *See specific announcement numbers below.
